Lhe team Actuarial & Modeling Services (AMS) teamteam, made up of actuaries, statisticians and engineers specialized in finance and modeling, works both with companies providing insurance services (insurance companies, mutual insurers, provident institutions, reinsurers, etc.) and with management companies working with them (asset managers, asset servicers, etc.), to support them in their actuarial work.
To strengthen the teams of its Actuarial & Modelling Services (AMS) practice, Command Strategy is looking for a Life Actuarial Consultant, specialized in Inventory/Product/Regulatory, with 3 to 5 years’ experience.
Job description:
The consultant will be able to intervene in the entire actuarial value chain:
- Product Actuarial, Underwriting, Inventory, …
- Asset and Liability Management (ALM), Risk Management …
- Regulatory work in the multi-standard insurance context: French-GAAP, Solvency 2, IFRS 9/17, etc.
- Modeling, production, automation and analysis of quantitative indicators (performance and risks, financial and non-financial)
- Supporting management companies in their collaboration with insurance companies (regulatory requirements, transparency work, etc.).
Profile required
- You have a degree in Actuarial Science (Master 2 from a university or diploma from a Grande école of engineering), ideally recognized by the Institute of Actuaries.
- You will have gained initial experience in life insurance actuarial work, with a particular interest ininventory and/or product actuarial issues.
- A good knowledge of insurance regulatory issues (French-GAAP, Solvency II &/or IFRS 17) is highly appreciated.
- You have a good command of office automation tools and are particularly at ease with Excel and VBA.
- You have a first successful experience with programming languages (Python, R, SAS, C#, …) and/or software packages.
- You have good writing skills, can work in both a French- and English-speaking environment, and can demonstrate rigor and autonomy, while knowing how to work as part of a team.
