Accounting Consultant / Regulatory Project

Job description:

As part of our business activities, we support our customers during accounting closures, constant changes to standards and regulations, and changes to information systems (IS).

You’ll join a team of experienced consultants and financial engineers renowned for their expertise, and support our customers in implementing their various regulatory projects. You will be involved in two types of missions:

1. Assistance with regulatory reporting :

• Support for production work :
  • Regulatory reports: FINREP, SURFI, COREP,LCR, NSFR, Office collections…
  • Regulatory ratios: Solvency, Leverage…
• Implementation of regulatory changes into customers’ tools
• Development of dashboards and projected indicators
• Regulatory watch: RUBA, Basel III v2…
• Writing user support materials

2. Project :

• Project management assistance forintegration of new requirements into various financial financial
• Implementation and configuration of production tools regulatory
• Participation in projects to overhaul financial reporting and analytical architecture
• Formalization of requirements expressions, drafting of specifications and/or functional specifications
• Definition of acceptance strategies and/or test plans
• Carrying out functional acceptance testing and integration testing (end-to-end)
• Definition and organization of data migrations and changeover plans

Profile required

• You have a 5-year higher education diploma in accounting (business school, Master’s degree in accounting, DSCG).
• You have initial experience in bank accounting and regulatory reporting, and have gained experience in projects involving the implementation of new standards (IFRS 9, Basel III). You are keen to further develop your skills in this area, and have an appetite for teamwork.
• Your responsiveness, reliability and analytical skills will make all the difference
• In-depth knowledge of banking regulations and regulatory ratios
• Professional English
• Proficiency in office automation and accounting tools (SAP, SAGE (1000, XRT), ORACLE CLOUD, AXWAY, NetSuite, etc.) is essential.
• Essential knowledge of reporting tools (Evolan Report, Invoke)
• Knowledge of consolidation (SAP BFC…) and treasury tools (KYRIBA, EXABANQUE…) considered a plus

Financial Engineer

Job description

As part of our activities, we support our customers in the strategic, operational and organizational changes brought about by a constantly evolving regulatory environment (Basel III, IFRS 9, Solvency 2, IFRS 17…).

VoYou will join a team of experienced consultants and financial engineers, renowned for their expertise, and will support our customers in the implementation of their various projects involving listed and unlisted investments. You will be involved in

• Supporting customers in the selection and deployment of financial software packages
• Assistance to project managers in integrating new requirements into various financial information systems
• Implementing new standards and measuring their strategic, system and operational impact
• Validation of financial indicators and/or insurance calculations in the various standards (FGAAP, IAS 39, IFRS9, etc.).
• Implementation of tools for reconciling and validating financial ratios
• Production of financial, accounting and regulatory reports
• Writing user guides and training business teams
• Ongoing exchanges with other departments: investment, risk, ALM, accounting, etc.

Profile required

• You have a 5-year degree in finance (engineering school, business school, Master’s degree in market finance, asset management or risk management).
• You have initial experience in a similar position and would like to further develop your skills in this field.

Job description:

The consultant will be able to intervene in the entire actuarial value chain:

• Product Actuarial, Underwriting, Inventory, …
• Asset and Liability Management (ALM), Risk Management …
• Regulatory work in the multi-standard insurance context: French-GAAP, Solvency 2, IFRS 9/17, etc.
• Modeling, production, automation and analysis of quantitative indicators (performance and risks, financial and non-financial)
• Supporting management companies in their collaboration with insurance companies (regulatory requirements, transparency work, etc.).

Profile required

• You have a degree in Actuarial Science (Master 2 from a university or diploma from a Grande école of engineering), ideally recognized by the Institute of Actuaries.
• You will have gained initial experience in life insurance actuarial work, with a particular interest ininventory and/or product actuarial issues.
• A good knowledge of insurance regulatory issues (French-GAAP, Solvency II &/or IFRS 17) is highly appreciated.
• You have a good command of office automation tools and are particularly at ease with Excel and VBA.
• You have a first successful experience with programming languages (Python, R, SAS, C#, …) and/or software packages.
• You have good writing skills, can work in both a French- and English-speaking environment, and can demonstrate rigor and autonomy, while knowing how to work as part of a team.
